Sexual Assault Survivors

Living through sexual violence can leave an array of physical and emotional effects from numb to angry, from difficulty sleeping to self-harming. Or you may tell yourself that you're "fine, it's over" but struggle to connect with your partner, or are triggered at times or have a difficult time being in your body.

Therapy can help you feel more in control of your recovery, your well-being and sense of self so that you can feel grounded, alive and well in your life, work and relationships.

Veterans

Transitioning to life outside the military can mean a re-evaluation of one's sense of identity, values and purpose. Perhaps you are struggling to create a new picture of who you are or are trying to make sense of all that you experienced while serving as an active member.

Therapy can help explore what values you want to live by, how you want to show up in your relationships and day to day life and how you can live more centred and grounded.

Hi, I'm Ashlee Allen

I am a gentle, open-minded, warm guide that can help you feel more present in the moment and actually enjoy it. I provide care for those experiencing a sense of purposelessness, confusion about their past, and feeling empty in life.

What makes me different: I accept people with a lot of compassion, just as they are, without judgement.

“The lands that surrounds us is part of who we are; it reflects our histories”.

* Nativegov.org

I live and work on the traditional lands of the territory of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Anishinaabe and Huron-Wendat peoples. I am on this land because of a history of colonization and injustice. It is a responsibility I have as personally and professionally to acknowledge and challenge how this history informs the present including my own bias and privilege as well as social and community structures and policies.

1% of my earnings will be donated to the Kenhte:ke Seed Sanctuary and Learning Centre.
