Supervision and Consultation
Thoughtful, relational support for therapists and social workers
Being a therapist can be deeply meaningful—and it can also be challenging, complicated, and at times, lonely. We hold space for others every day, while navigating the highs and lows that come with being a helper and a therapist ourselves.
Clinical consultation can be a space to bring not only the questions and challenges that arise in your clinical work, but also the experience of being the person doing the work.
It can be a place to explore the moments that leave you feeling inspired, connected, and deeply fulfilled, as well as the moments that leave you feeling stuck, uncertain, overwhelmed, or questioning yourself.
Working with me may look like:
Sharing of clinical cases and problem solving collaboratively on clinical directions
Exploring dynamics within the therapy, while honouring your own knowing
Delighting in ‘therapeutic wins’
Undoing aloneness in therapeutic stuck points
Exploring how to bring more of your Self into the therapy room
Practical strategies and interventions to take with you in the next session with a client
What I Offer:
Clinical consultation and supervision for social workers and therapists who want to deepen their clinical practice, strengthen their therapeutic presence, and develop greater confidence in working with complex client presentations.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and supportive, drawing from my experience with AEDP, EMDR, narrative therapy, attachment-based approaches, trauma therapy, and other integrative modalities.
A commitment to your growth and development as a therapist - I will offer not only tools and strategies but a witnessing to your development as a helping profession.
I believe the supervision/consultation should be a ‘safe enough’ place to be honest, vulnerable and real and that’s it’s invaluable for professional growth, therapist well-being and ethical practice. I encourage you to bring your ‘whole Self’.
