Therapeutic Approaches and Values
I primarily work from the modality of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) while also integrating elements of Narrative Therapy, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Therapy isn’t just about talking through challenges—it’s about deepening self-awareness, discovering inner resilience, and creating meaningful change.
Personally, I found AEDP to be incredibly helpful in my own learning and growth as a therapist, and I continue to feel inspired each time I see how this approach can support others in their healing.
With AEDP, we work together to heal from the inside out—helping you strengthen relationships, better regulate emotions, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. I recognize how vulnerable it can feel to share parts of your story, and I trust that you know what feels right to share and when.
The therapeutic relationship is a central part of my work. My hope is that you feel comfortable being yourself in our sessions—without needing to edit or filter your story or experiences.
Healing Through
Connection & Experience
AEDP is an emotion-focused approach that helps you move beyond pain and self-protection into a place of healing, connection, and transformation. Rather than focusing on managing symptoms, we will work together to process emotions at a deep level, rewiring old patterns and fostering resilience. Through this approach, therapy becomes a space where you can:
Gently process past wounds with support, rather than feeling stuck in them.
Access and experience core emotions in a way that feels safe, rather than overwhelming.
Develop new emotional responses that create lasting change in how you feel, think, and relate to others.
Build resilience and self-compassion, allowing for a greater sense of ease, authenticity, and fulfillment.
